Redecoration of the day room/ waiting room

Anybody who has ever been in a hospital as a patient or visitor will remember the pale yellow walls and the feeling you get looking around a gloomy room just waiting. Chemotherapy patients often have to make regular visits to hospital and we wanted to offer them a nicer space to sit in before or after treatment.

The redecoration included painting the walls in relaxing purples, purchasing new chairs to suit every bodies needs, updating the flooring and adding a beautiful lavender landscape to one of the walls.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported this project and made it possible. We would also like to thank former Leicester Tigers player Niall Morris for officially opening the room for us.
